About two years a patent dispute between the mighty Apple and Qualcomm had settled.They had legal disputes in court Especially courts in USA, China and other parts of the world.The settlement concluded that a formalised 6 years agreement along with multi year chipset supply agreement .Experts said that the need of incorporting 5G chips into their I phones is what led to the negotiation.
After this negotiation news Intel announced they are exiting 5G mobile modem.That was scheduled to launch in 2020 has been cancelled.Apple was using Intel modem in some of their devices since Iphone7 .this dispute lead to a higher market boom for Qualcomm followed by MediaTek.Qualcomm is having higher processing facilities which helped the customer in Android devices
